Rudder Work






Milled the pieces for the rudder and glued them up.

The dimensions are supposed to be from 1 1/2" on the leading edge to 3/4" on the trailing edge.

I used a hand planer to mill down the pine blocking, and then a grinder and orbital sander.

The finished dimension is from 1 1/2" to 1".

I don't think this will make any significant difference in it's operation.

Pocketship finished except sailing hardware.

 Have her finished except for the installation of the sailing hardware package.  Had to fix the bunks on the trailer to fit her perfectly.  She tows very well.
