Just tidied up and had a look at what need to be done next. Its been 8 months since the last work!
Dry fit of cabin top deck. Still need to plane down the blocking to have the right curve for a proper mate. Notice picture two is a shot through the hole in bulkhead to inside of Dorade box and the blocking there still needs planing also. Just using a hand plane and then maybe belt sander.
Port side seatback panel glued and clamped.
Styrofoam cut and filled into cavities.  Last trim of the port panel and marked pencil lines for positions of bulkheads so I can drill the holes for screws to hold in place while epoxy cures.
Cabin top (deck) glued together. Epoxy mixed and blocks glued inside Dorade boxes.
Blocking for gluing down deck epoxied in place. Now to plane them down flush, drill holes for the Dorade boxes, glue together the two cabintop sides, and then attach the top.
All the cleats milled for bulkhead 2 and the rear cabin wall. Note the marks for wood to be removed with router.  Also the p and s for port and starboard. 2nd picture shows them rounded over on router and sanded with two different grit sandpapers.
Glued up the blocking reinforcements between stringers to add strength as this is where mooring cleats and spinnaker sheet blocks will be installed.

A few more hours and the cockpit will be finished, and ready to fiberglass. Note the white paint for inside where the storage lockers will be. Also notice the leftover lead ingots that were used for the lead keel way back. These have been very useful as weights to hold things in place when gluing like the stringers for the seatbacks.

Dry fit of seatback panels. The port side is too lond and needs trimming on the fore endto match the angle of the cabin back. The starboard side is a little too short but only 1/4 inch so it can be fixed by positioning halfway and extra epoxy. Next is planning the seatback stringer tops level.
2 more stringers for accepting the seatbacks are glued and clamped in place. I have found that the pump for the epoxy gets gummed up after a few months and I have to soak it in solvent to get the white gum out and have it working smoothly again.
Working on the stringers for the setback frames. Time consuming work. Picture 2 is the opening for the storage compartments in the seatbacks.  
Here are some pics of the blocks I milled to recieve the transom skirt and the sheer clamps or carlins for the seatback frames.
Been a long time! Fist work on the boat since last spring. Did some reading about the seatback frames. Milled up the stringers that go from the rear cabinwall to the transom. The temporary frame did not fit right against boat sides  had the fix them. Also one side, starboard, has the seatheight about a inch higher than the other side. Have read how other builders have had these problems.
