boat measurements

So.....the marks with the x in between them are the right ones. The 2 dashes closest are the ones according to the plans. They are off by about an inch. this is for the starboard side. The port side as you can see in the lowest picture is off about 1/2 inch. I am making sure the boards run parallel to each other.
The distance along the pine strip from the corner across the transom on one side is 21 inches and the other 20 inches. I am hoping this will not cause problems later. I did earlier dry fit the seats and they fit pretty well.

Have her finished except for the installation of the sailing hardware package.  Had to fix the bunks on the trailer to fit her perfectly.  She tows very well.

Painted the cabin.

OLD BLOG (July 2009)

Wednesday, July 29, 2009 No Time!! I was hoping to get more than this done. I'm off to Newfoundland to look into my family boatbuilding past for a few weeks. last work was to glue up half of the keel. Next need to coat the inside with epoxy and glue up the other side. I hope that by putting a wedge under the keel while glueing will solve this....Will let you know!! What a marvelous noseblock I have planed!! Posted by Cliff at 7:06 PM 0 comments Thursday, July 23, 2009 Last evening milled the blocking for the centerboard trunk, and then glued them. Also cut pieces for the noseblock and glue...
