Planing the lumber for the mast.

Been sanding my arms off. :). Just whetted out some areas that had fibreglass weave showing through.  Makes me think it looks almost good enough to varnish this boat instead of painting. :)

About 20 hours his week on cockpit sanding and about half done.

Gave the gaff a coat of epoxy. Used the leftover to fill the little bubble holes in the sanded cockpit.

Made the gaff out of hemlock on Friday.

Sanding the cockpit takes many hours.

Picked up hemlock for the gaff. Used template to cut it out. Routered the edges with 1/2 inch bit and sanded.

March break 2020. Starting on the Gaff. Need 122" x 3" x 1" true. Called Ridge Cedar. Sanding the cockpit while I wait.
