I guess there are 26 pocketships now. From finished to early stages.

I am waiting for the Ash to arrive for my floors that I hope to work on next week.

I am epoxying all the pine into place in the cockpit for the acceptance of the footwell, etc.

Pocketship finished except sailing hardware.

Have her finished except for the installation of the sailing hardware package. Had to fix the bunks on the trailer to fit her perfectly. She tows very well.

Wednesday, July 29, 2009 No Time!! I was hoping to get more than this done. I'm off to Newfoundland to look into my family boatbuilding past for a few weeks. last work was to glue up half of the keel. Next need to coat the inside with epoxy and glue up the other side. When I get back hope to pour the lead. Found out why Dave had the problem with the curve in the keel. If the blocking goes from 3/4 to 1 and 1/2 up to the centerboard trunk and this is glued flat to the table then there will naturally be a curve. I hope that by putting a wedge under the keel while glueing will solve this....Will let you know!! What a marvelous noseblock I have planed!!
