Rubrails are bending

OK so I have one strip of mahogany on each side for the rub rails and today I put one layer of Sepele, which is unbelievably harder, on the port side. It was hard to get it bent in place and I had to use longer screws.

Waterline struck and first coat.

Figured out how to strike the waterline with the laser level. I just didn’t have the laser level back far enough Then got the first coat done and it looks good so far. Pettit EZPoxy Electric Sapphire blue with additive. Using roll and tip.
